A wonderful slide show, showing the past and present forms of transport, on a tour of the whole Isle. The scenery was breathtaking and very interesting. The electric tramway was very fascinating - especially how the transport department never threw things away in case they could be used in future projects. And just how clever were horses on the horse-drawn tramway? Apparently, they will only do three journeys and then no more! The horses’ trade union must be very strong on the Isle of Man! Altogether, a very pleasant evening was had by all.
