We were treated to rare footage of Car 104 carry full capacity loads of enthusiasts up and down Thornbury Depot Works approach road and then inside onto the turntable (which was part of the original traverser). Cab views of trolleybuses then followed before we moved on to the steam scene on the railways in the north and north-east There wore glimpses of industrial railways, with NCB stock, with Guard’s van at the tail, on BR metals bringing the coal trucks for marshalling ready for onward distribution for the commercial and domestic markets.
