I am sorry to report that we only had fourteen members present at the meeting and would ask more of you to come along and enjoy a night out with fellow enthusiasts. Our Guest Speaker was Ray Wilkinson, who had travelled from Halifax to join John Holroyd at Saltaire before arriving at the Midland.

I had taken my projector stand along and Ray had his projector. Although I had my stand at maximum height, a problem with Rays projector prevented him from tilting it to line up with the ceiling mounted pull-down screen. Jon Holroyd saved the day allowing us to make use of his projector thankyou John!

Ray had a splendid show of trams with trolleybus views in amongst and proved his extensive knowledge of types, makes and locations. We saw vehicles in Glasgow, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Birkenhead, Colwyn Bay, London, and many others We finished the evening with a selection of London trolleybuses. Our thanks to Ray and we hope he will make another return visit in the future.

Fred did his usual superb effort with the raffle and we offer our continued thanks to him The July social meeting will be presented by Graham Virco who was unable to be present tonight because of work commitments.
